UniversalGiving®, an award-winning global nonprofit, is seeking a creative, enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator. The Marketing Coordinator will have a profound impact, helping us promote UniversalGiving’s mission and developing key partnerships to increase awareness of our work in over 120 countries. The Marketing Coordinator will lead on promoting UniversalGiving’s services with an emphasis on strategizing and customizing outreaches to potential partners and media outlets. This position requires exemplary writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. A strong engagement with and ability to communicate about UniversalGiving’s services and values is imperative.
The Marketing Coordinator will also play a role in maintaining Marketing guidelines and working with the CEO on Marketing strategies. The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for creating or maintaining key Marketing materials including manuals, newsletters, one-pagers, and outreach templates. With proven excellence in attitude, execution and communications, position may turn into paid.
Responsibilities
Strategize and customize outreach communications to increase the likelihood of response and engagement
Outreach to potential partners identified by Marketing Opportunity Reports and the CEO in key areas of collaboration, including media swaps, Community Based Journalism, and opportunity promotion
Outreach for CEO’s speaking engagements and manage event planning
Facilitate discussions between UniversalGiving and partner contacts, including preparing and reviewing Partnership proposals
Manage the content and release of newsletters and social media postings
Manage the CEO Blog, Living and Giving, and all articles with regular updates and follow-up to responses
Maintain key Marketing operations, including upholding Salesforce standards, updating the Google Drive, and maintaining communications documents
With proven track record, train and manage Marketing interns
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Ability to strategize on marketing outreach and communications
Commitment to learning about UniversalGiving’s services and systems
Exceptional critical thinking skills
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
Experience in a collaborative, team-based environment
Computer skills, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Commitment to using and updating Salesforce, our Relationship Database
