The Center for Reflective Communities (CRC), a 501c3 nonprofit organization, provides early intervention and parent training to enhance relationships between children and caregivers, leading to greater school readiness, increased academic achievement, and more productive lives.
CRC is seeking to hire an exceptional EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR to lead the organization.
Reporting to the board of directors, the executive director is responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the organization and working to build and sustain CRC and its programs.
Manage operations including financials, organizational policies, and procedures;
Work to expand academic research to compile data on program effectiveness;
Maintain APA certified Continuing Education Units provider by submitting all required forms, reports, and payments;
Explore relationships with potential partner organizations;
Improve alumni outreach and organizational communications;
Pursue grant opportunities and develop a strong fundraising base;
Explore and secure funding sources - public and private - beyond RPP Levels 1-3 (Parenting Consultations, Drop-in Groups, Discrete Groups, etc…);
Find and secure commitments from organizations who are interested in hiring CRC for train-the-trainer workshops, parent groups, or other types of opportunities;
Evaluate communications strategy, means, and frequency;
Establish alumni outreach.
Lead the strategic planning process to ensure the long-term viability of the organization.
Participate in an executive director’s annual performance appraisal process.
The executive director will provide ongoing communication to board members as needed and will submit reports every two months in person, via telephone, and/or via email at the direction of the board chair.
