BrightFocus Foundation is a premier global nonprofit funder of scientific research and provides expert information to defeat Alzheimer’s, macular degeneration, and glaucoma. BrightFocus is currently supporting a $65 million global portfolio of more than 260 projects.
The Marketing and Communications Coordinator is part of BrightFocus’ newly-formed Integrated Marketing and Communications team that aims to increase awareness and engagement for BrightFocus and its Alzheimer’s Disease Research, Macular Degeneration Research, and National Glaucoma Research programs. This proactive, data-and-deadline-driven position will play an important role in supporting integrated marketing and communications functions for the organization.
The Coordinator will conduct cross-channel audience research that will help inform the development of a robust omnichannel marketing and communications strategy for BrightFocus. The Coordinator will collaborate with multiple colleagues across the organization in support of mission-driven and donor-centric organizational and departmental goals related to integrated communications, including Development, Strategic Partnerships, and Scientific Affairs.
