Small community based domestic violence and mental health program is immediately seeking Bilingual (Spanish/Cape Verdean Creole/Portuguese) Bachelor’s Level or commensurate experience in a human service or related field to work within our intake department including psychiatric services.
Must have cultural awareness and experience in working with diverse populations. Experience working in a behavioral health and/or domestic violence program setting a strong plus. Those with knowledge of trauma informed care and family violence experience strongly encouraged to apply. Enthusiasm for learning, flexibility, ability to work well within a team and a desire to laugh and have fun all strongly required. This is an office-based work position, 28 hours per week, Monday-Friday including day and evenings. Those with multi-language capacity highly encouraged to apply. Valid driver’s license and access to personal vehicle helpful.
Salary: $24- $27 per hour depending on experience and language capacity
$500 sign-on bonus after six months of employment with a positive review.
