o View, carefully listen to and transcribe recordings, and catalog incidents for use in complaints and/or publication

o Independently assess evidence for violations of laws and regulations and draft detailed complaints to various agencies

o Coordinate and lead internal and external meetings, including with public officials and humane agents, related to the public release of investigations

o Perform a variety of writing, research, and administrative tasks in preparation for the public release of investigations

• Initiate research and interpretation of a variety of animal-protection issues in order to further investigations

• Maintain strict confidentiality at all times

• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

• Degree in a related field and a minimum of three years of relevant experience

• Thorough knowledge of animal rights issues and PETA campaigns

• Demonstrated ability to transcribe audio recordings and describe contents of video recordings accurately

• Proven meticulous attention to detail and excellent analytical and editing skills

• Proven excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle many issues simultaneously

• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality at all times

• Professional appearance and adherence to a healthy vegan lifestyle

• Willingness and ability to travel

• Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid U.S. drivers' license, a minimum of three years of driving experience, and a satisfactory driving record

• Support for PETA's philosophy and the ability to professionally advocate PETA's position on issues
