OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The AFL-CIO is looking for a strong, dynamic Deputy Director of Communications to join our leadership team. Reporting to the Director of Communications, the ideal candidate will possess senior-level experience managing both traditional and digital communications strategies.
The Deputy Director of Communications will support the Director in strategy development and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our staff and their work, including but not limited to: social and traditional media strategy, rapid response, writing and editorial content, email and SMS list management, website content management, and event production.
