This position is currently 100% remote. After COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted, the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Manager role may be a hybrid role, working remotely some days per week a week and in one of the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts (“GSEMA” or "Council") designated offices other days of the week. Offices are located in Andover, Waltham and Middleboro, MA. May also involve work activities on properties, designated sites/events and community locations as needed.
Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts is seeking qualified candidates for the full-time position of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Manager (DEIM). This is a new hybrid-based role that reports to the Senior Director of Human Resources.
The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Manager (DEIM) will develop, implement and track ongoing workforce initiatives to enrich Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs, and be responsible for key human resources (HR) functions such as recruiting and other related activities. Working closely with the Sr. Director of Human Resources, the incumbent will serve as a DEI program manager and internal consultant in support of cross-functional and strategic action plans, and serve as a core member of the Diversity and Inclusion Steering Committee (DISC).
Skills and Qualifications:
Work Environment: This is a remote position with work primarily from home and a requirement of one day every other week of in-office time at a designated GSEMA office. May also involve work activities on properties, designated sites/events and community locations as needed.

Travel Requirements: Must have access to reliable transportation to travel to GSEMA offices/service centers and across the Council footprint as needed. As this position requires approximately 35% travel within the Council footprint and may require occasional travel outside the Council footprint, possession of a valid driver’s license and access to motor vehicle is preferred.
