The Overnight Skills Trainer is responsible for assisting in the coordination of mental health and residential services provided by the treatment team. The position provides quality youth care and close intensive supervision of male adolescent clients in a residential treatment setting during overnight and early morning hours. This position closely monitors the client’s and the facility throughout the night and morning hours. In addition, this position prepares meals for the day and assists in maintaining food and household supplies. Position responsibilities also involve record keeping, report writing, and data entry. This position requires active participation as a member of a skills training team.
SCHEDULE: 3 overnight shifts available. However, these schedules may be adjusted according to the needs of the program.
Shift 1: 38 hours per week (Full Time), Friday 9pm - 10am, Saturday 9:45pm - 11am, and Sunday 9pm - 8am; plus additional hours for staff meetings and supervision.
Shift 2: 30 hours per week (Full Time), Monday through Friday 2:30am to 8:30am; plus additional hours for staff meetings and supervision.
Shift 3: 18 hours per week (Part Time), Saturday and Sunday 2:30am to 11:30am; plus additional hours for staff meetings and supervision.
WAGE/BENEFITS: $13.96 per hour (13.46+$0.50 differential for overnight). Full time positions are benefit eligible, part time positions may be eligible for pro-rated benefits. Voluntary optional coverage is also available. Regularly scheduled Full-time or Part-time Overnight Staff receive a $500 sign-on bonus after successfully completing 90 days of employment and an additional $500 after successfully completing 180 days of employment.
