Tacoma Community College has outstanding opportunities for various Spanish Instructors. These positions are responsible for preparing and teaching Spanish courses and supporting the ongoing programs of Tacoma Community College. The successful candidate will be flexible in their ability to achieve the instructional and general responsibilities of the position. This position reports directly to the Dean for Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences and works closely with the Humanities Program Chair and faculty.
These positions will prepare and teach courses in Spanish for the Humanities Program at Tacoma Community College. Depending on the quarterly needs of the Program, courses assigned may include one of the courses listed below. Master's degree required in Spanish or closely related field and experience teaching Spanish.
SPAN&121, Spanish I
SPAN&122, Spanish II
SPAN& 123, Spanish III
These are adjunct faculty positions contracted on a quarterly basis. The class schedule will depend on student schedules and needs. The salary for adjunct faculty is $775.60 per credit hour.
