Development Director for ARME and ARME’s Beagle Freedom Project
Job Purpose
The Director of Development creates and oversees fundraising strategies. This may include major gifts, grant solicitation, corporate relations and in-kind resources.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The Director of Development will perform the following duties:
Experience
Five years of fundraising experience.
A proven track record of successful major gifts solicitation and established relationships is mandatory to be considered for this position.
A comprehensive understanding of animal rights issues.
Director of Development may be required to work evenings and weekends during major campaigns and special events.
Must be cruelty-free (meaning you do not use products tested on animals), or are willing to learn and transition to being cruelty-free.
While being vegetarian or vegan is not a requirement, our office is a vegan office and therefore no animal products may be consumed on the premises.
Development Director position is based in LA and requires attendance at our office 5 days per week.
