Report to: Global Partnership Director
We enable knowledge sharing with the world’s hardest-to-reach communities, empowering them to improve their health, income, and quality of life. We do this by amplifying the reach of local partners through the use of our Talking Book audio devices, which serve people who are often missed due to illiteracy or living in remote areas. We support these partners with the technology, the creation of engaging audio interviews, songs, and dramas, and the analysis of user feedback recordings and usage statistics to better understand user needs.
We have worked with partners like CARE, UNICEF, and WHO to reach nearly 500,000 people in Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda, and Uganda. With the right Learning and Development Manager, we can grow this program to reach millions more in many more countries over the next few years.
We seek a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join our team and manage our learning and development portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilitation, development of learning materials, and management of learning systems.
Amplio Network is seeking an individual to join as a Monitoring & Evaluation Advisor. This position will benefit from exposure to a broad range of international development fields--including economic growth, agriculture, recovery, child protection, health, gender, hygiene/sanitation, environment, and climate change--in support of programming around the world. Some of the responsibilities will be to provide high quality technical assistance to projects in the field with data collection and analysis, tracking project indicators, results framework development, theory of change drafting, and launching M&E learning activities.
The successful candidate will draw on global good practice as well as practical experience of our partner in Kenya and Ghana to establish clear monitoring and evaluation protocols and practices for our Talking Book Program. They will be actively involved in supporting the Ghana team and US team by drafting Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning plans. In addition, the incumbent will also support strategic planning and business development initiatives, including building internal M&E capacity and capabilities of staff through direct mentorship and training, and refining and implementing robust oversight frameworks.
This position will support the Global Partnership Director in ensuring that Amplio Network is developing, implementing and maintaining high quality performance monitoring and evaluation systems, compliant with client requirements and serving program management needs.
