CLARE Foundation is a nonprofit organization providing compassionate treatment and recovery servicesfor alcoholism and substance abuse to individuals, families, and the community.
CLARE Foundation is actively searching for a Maintenance Person/Driver to assist maintenance staff with repairs including drywall, painting, minor plumbing, and janitorial tasks. Drive/maintain CLARE vehicles as requested. Run errands as requested by supervisor. Assist kitchen supervisor as necessary.
Facility maintenance and driving
Pick up and distribute daily food donations
Take mail to Post Office
Assist with daily maintenance/repairs of CLARE buildings
Knowledge, Experience & Skills:
Must have valid California Driver’s license, insurance, and pass background check. Must have computer skills, Microsoft office.
Experience in general maintenance and repair
A positive attitude and a good driving record is required
Must have vehicle to drive to and from work
While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

This job will be primarily located at the CLARE Foundation’s offices in Santa Monica/Westside, CA. While performing the responsibilities of the job, these work environment characteristics are representative of the environment the job holder will encounter.
