Leadership for Educational Equity (LEE) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan leadership development organization dedicated to developing its members’ potential to ensure every child has the opportunity to receive an outstanding education. The Director, Candidate Ready Development (DCRD) works closely with the Elected Leadership team and other LEE teams to drive staff to compellingly present electoral opportunities to members and agitate members to action. They hire and manage a team to achieve team priorities and partner with other LEE teams to maximize impact. DCRDs thrive in collaborative and entrepreneurial environments and are proven self-starters. They develop strong relationships with staff and members, facilitate project management superiorly, and are adept at leveraging and integrating different technologies and work collaboratively across lines of difference and with a diverse set of audiences.
Position Location: Bay Area, Los Angeles, Washington DC & Chicago are strongly preferred. Atlanta, Denver, Houston & Phoenix will also be considered.

Salary for this position is competitive and depends on prior experience. In addition, a comprehensive benefits package is included.
