Working alongside our staff, this intern will coordinate donor meetings and committee meeting along with the planning and management of events. The successful intern will work with other staff members in the building to learn more about the services KQED provides to the community. ________________________________________ Internship Duties:
The KQED Development Intern may assist with one or more of the following: • Assist with event planning and execution of both small and large scale events • Research and develop stewardship strategies • Research and develop event strategies • Provide support for KQED Development team ________________________________________ Qualifications: • Working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree in Non-Profit Management, Business, or Hospitality • Strong organizational skills • Ability to work independently on tight deadlines and to balance multiple projects • Commitment to fundraising and non-profit media • Excellent oral and written communication skills • MS Office – Powerpoint, Word and Excel
