Greenpeace is hiring an online content associate for our high-performing, dynamic, creative digital team.
Do you love writing? When you’re scrolling through your social media feeds, are you taking mental notes about content ideas to try? Are you excited about using your skills to get people to take action to solve big problems like climate change? Then this job may be for you.
The Online Content Associate will be responsible for implementing digital strategies and creating content for email, social media, SMS and other digital platforms. One day this might mean drafting a two-week email series for our campaign to stop offshore drilling. The next day you might be live-streaming a protest, or writing a rapid-response email in 20 minutes.
We're looking for people with excellent writing skills, the ability to learn about an issue quickly, and a passion for innovation and social change. The position requires a basic overall understanding of digital communications technology (i.e. social media platforms, basic content management systems, CRMs, SMS, and web management) and techniques.
