SDYS Job Announcement:
Status: Full-time, $46,446/year plus excellent benefits
Specific Responsibilities: Report to Program Manager and Division Director as needed.
Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications: License-eligible in marriage and family therapy or social work and currently registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences. In addition, this person shall have a minimum of two years’ experience working with youth under the direct supervision of a licensed clinician and two years’ experience working with cross disciplinary teams. Knowledge of co-occurring disorders treatment is also required. Prefer applicant who has experience working with runaway and homeless youth and who has provided services in a Medi-Cal funded clinic. Must be able to pass clearance for working with Minors. Must have good driving record and willing to use own, properly insured vehicle for the job. Bilingual preferred. Knowledge of the homeless youth population in San Diego and committed to cultural awareness. Must be willing to develop or possess working knowledge of trauma-informed care and dual diagnosis treatment; experience working in trauma-informed and dual diagnosis programs preferred.
