  Job Description

Full Time:

The Road Home is seeking an energetic and dedicated Operation AmeriCorps member to serve full-time in the Client Engagement Department at The Road Home, a homeless shelter homeless individuals and families.  This position will support the Client Engagement team, providing data support to the team and engaging with people seeking employment related services from The Road Home.

As an AmeriCorps member, The pay, “called a living stipend” is $1300 that will be paid twice per month; on the 7th & 22nd, until you are no longer in the program. 
This is a Full -time contract and commitment for the course of 10 months, with a minimum of 1700 required hours of service.


Upon Successful completion of the contract, minimum hours & satisfactory fulfillment of your 10 months contract, you would be eligible for an Education award of $5,775. You may use to either further your education or pay on a previously accrued qualifying
Federal student loan(s).

Also while serving as an Operation AmeriCorps member, if you have any qualifying Federal Student loans, they will may qualify for forbearance along with any taxes accrued, will be paid by the National Corporation (Trust) at the end of your 10 month contract. The full time position also has Health Care options available through RBI Insurance (subject to eligibility and costs to the member).

Position to start on or before February 28, 2017. Contract term runs on or before February 28, 2017 – Sept. 30, 2017.

**YOU MUST be able to pass an FBI criminal background check.

This is a full-time position of approximately 40+ hours per week (Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.) with occasional opportunities or needs for weekend hours. 
Position requires the candidates be 21 or over.

Have a clean and valid driver’s license in order for the agency's insurance policy to cover them.
A High School diploma and GED is required.

Preference will be given to applicants that have a degree.
Must have basic computer skills, typing and Microsoft Word knowledge. Excel is a plus.
