Looking for a strategic leadership opportunity in community behavioral health?
Cascadia Behavioral Healthcare is hiring the Senior Director of Crisis Services.
Over the last 16 months, we have all experienced the vulnerability created by COVID. For some of our neighbors and for some of us the isolation, sickness, and loss took its toll and we needed help. It was members of the Cascadia Crisis teams that provided much of that help.
We are looking for a person to lead Cascadia’s Crisis Teams. If you’re a seasoned clinician who loves to lead and support strong clinicians doing effective work; a person who knows that staff need confident and calm support to be at their best; and someone who knows that the best teams are diverse teams that practice inclusivity AND if you also have experience leading mobile crisis teams and/or crisis clinics – we want to meet you!
Bring your leadership, operational skills, and compassionate care, and join us.
Cascadia Behavioral Healthcare is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) and a newly designated Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) both of which offer creative funding opportunities for building services that truly meet today’s challenges. Practitioner opportunities exist in clinics, in residential sites, co-located with community partners, and mobile work within the community.
The Senior Director of Crisis Services is responsible and accountable for the clinical delivery of crisis related services contracted to Cascadia. Position responsibilities include clinical model development, implementation, and compliance; business development; establishing and maintaining good stakeholder and community relationships; as well as providing staff oversight. The individual serves as a key spokesperson for the clinical delivery of care within Crisis Services to include development and maintenance of positive intra-agency and community relationships; responding to requests to publicly promote Cascadia and the services across sites; and is responsible for building coalitions and collaborations within the organization and in the community. The incumbent serves on the Cascadia Senior Leadership team and is responsible for input into development and implementation of Cascadia strategic planning.
The Senior Director of Crisis Services must understand, appreciate, and respect the diversity and cultural differences within our Cascadia community. As such, it is expected that the person in this position promotes integrated care, our vision of trauma-informed and person-first approaches and helps create a work environment of inclusion, safety, and acceptance.
