Extollo International (“Extollo”) is a faith-based social enterprise whose mission is to address extreme poverty in Haiti through three integrated solutions: vocational training in the construction trades, character development, and access to employment and economic development opportunities.
The Country Director (CD) is a key member of the Extollo leadership team, leading all administrative, logistical, and program/training activities in Haiti. The CD works very closely with the General Contractor and Construction Manager on the planning and execution of all construction-related initiatives. The CD is responsible for the continued development, planning, and execution of Extollo’s training programs, administrative and logistical operations, and cultivating strategic partnerships with other organizations in Haiti.
The critical deciding factor for a CD to join Extollo will be the fit with the vision, mission, and values of the organization. We are seeking a Christ-centered professional with a solid skill set in organizational leadership, people management, logistics/operational support, and the passion to use those skills to make life-long impact in the lives of men and women in Haiti.
To this end the CD will primarily:
Reporting to the President, the CD directly manages the Operations Manager, Teaching Coordinator, Administrative Assistant, and has overall supervisory responsibility for all administrative, logistical, and program/training activities. The CD will collaborate with the General Contractor and Construction Manager on construction-related activities.
