Quality Services Specialists $16.78/hr Closing Date: 5/22/18
F/T 32hr/wk this position is to support employees in the agency with meeting quality assurance standards by teaching and providing important information about the EHR that impacts documentation of services. This position also assists in setting up and reviewing charts, coordination of activities related to the implementation and maintenance of the Agency Quality Services standards. Worksite: Norwich Hours: Monday - Friday 1st shift.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in implementation of policies and procedures to ensure quality assurance compliance for programs serving members (DDS and DMHAS)
Assist in providing employee training in relation to Quality Assurance for programs serving members.
Assist in assessing, identifying and developing plan of action for Quality Assurance risk areas
Data report generation, assistance and process data corrections for Agency compliance
Establish and maintain confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations
Assists in checking member Medicaid eligibility using electronic processes or manually, when designated by Director
Responsible for updating member eligibility in the system and re-bills services as needed
Organizes, updates and continuously proof data entry, making corrections as needed
Maintains computer –billing records including tracking documentation of all progress notes and treatment plans.
Assists the QA Department with ensuring compliance with all Medicaid State Assistance
Provide QA department information necessary to perform chart audits to verify that documentation matches billing.
Required to work at different locations per Agency need
Engage in continuous concerted efforts to access, obtain, respond to pertinent agency information/communications and disseminate as appropriate
Provide conditions that maximize safety for co-workers and program participants.
Other responsibilities of Reliance House staff, such as participation in paid Agency events, adhering to Agency Policies, training requirements etc.
Perform duties while demonstrating Agency Core Competencies and values
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or human service related field and/or equivalent work related experience.
2 years previous work experience in quality management preferred
Experience working for non-profit agency preferred
Valid CT Driver’s License, vehicle registration and insurance
Good Driving record
