The major gifts program at the Center has grown year over year at an impressive rate in terms of donors, prospects, revenue and engagement opportunities. We have harnessed this surge of donor interest in several ways, including focusing our efforts on building regions and key cities, increasing the number of gift officers, and hosting more and more strategic engagement opportunities and events. While this growth has been built on a strong operational foundation, we are on the brink of outgrowing this base and have made the decision to invest in key positions to help buttress, bolster and build up our support structures to make possible and sustainable future growth in the major gifts program.
The Center is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, creative team player for a new position of Senior Portfolio Manager, a position that will be vital to making the necessary improvements in major gifts operations. Additionally, the Senior Portfolio Manager needs to be highly aware of the end-user’s needs when developing new or refreshing current processes, systems and protocols to ensure a high degree of integration and adoption into workflows and business operations. Most importantly, the Senior Portfolio Manager will be sensitive to the major gift team’s primary responsibility: to engage donor partners and increase revenue using a donor-centric approach to fundraising.
