Leadership for Educational Equity (LEE) seeks a Coordinator to support the Office of the Executive Director, which consists of General Counsel, the Executive Director and the Chief of Staff, to whom the Coordinator will report. This person will provide administrative support to the Executive Director and manage communications as well as general project management to support the team. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are interested in learning more about politics and civic leadership and possess exceptional writing, analytical and organizational skills. Additionally, this role provides many opportunities to build knowledge and gain unique perspectives by working alongside ambitious colleagues and dynamic senior leaders.
The Coordinator in the Office of the Executive Director largely produces documents (PowerPoint presentations, grants, board report, memos, one-pagers, etc) to support engagement of donors and partners. This work requires strong communication skills, exceptional attention to detail and an ability to leverage reporting systems to ensure we are constantly learning, improving, and developing ways to work more effectively. The Coordinator also needs to exercise strong judgment in responding to internal and external partners, troubleshooting problems, and flagging issues for team members as needed. Finally, the Coordinator will need to successfully build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including other staff at LEE, our members, Teach For America staff, and other partner organizations.
