Nashville CARES seeks candidates for the position of Temporary Fulltime Affordable Care Act Enrollment Support Specialist.
TITLE: Affordable Care Act Enrollment Support Specialist
REPORTS TO: Director of Insurance & Dental Assistance Program
POSITION: Temporary Fulltime Non-Exempt (Hourly)
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
The Affordable Care Act Enrollment Support Specialist is responsible for providing ACA enrollment support for the Insurance Assistance Program.
STATEMENT OF TASKS
Process appropriate program enrollment forms for clients new or existing to Insurance Assistance Program.
Maintain database to accurately track and manage premium payments and client data.
Maintain documentation in client charts and database of contacts with clients, MCMs, Insurance companies, and Medical/Pharmacy providers.
File supporting documentation per established program procedures.
Assist in processing and distributing all incoming and outgoing IAP mails/faxes.
Actively participate as a member of the team to insure completion of goals.
Adhere to agency, department and team policies and procedures.
Participate in agency, department, team meetings and events as directed/requested.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or agency.
Actively participate in monthly meetings and review sessions to ensure an understanding of processes.
One year of experience in benefits administration position. Undergraduate degree preferred. Demonstrated experience with billing/benefits administration. Experience in a managed care organization a plus. Must be detail-oriented and able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
