Individual & Family Therapist/ Medford, OR
Hours: Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
Compensation: $3,689-$5,376 per Month DOE
Benefits: 2.4 weeks paid time-off, 1 week of paid sick-time the first year of employment, 6 paid holidays per year, health, vision and dental insurance, 401k with up to 6% employer contribution. Agency is qualified for federal student aid public service loan forgiveness program.

About this position:
Individual and Family Therapists provide intensive treatment services for youth who might otherwise be served in psychiatric residential treatment by providing treatment options in the youth's home and in their community, based on wrap-around service planning in close coordination with community partners. Agency vehicle provided. F/T shifts consist of mostly (M-F) work-days with and some evening and weekend appointments as needed to accommodate youth and families' schedules. This position is a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team providing psychiatric services to youth, young adults and their families. Provides comprehensive mental health assessments, treatment plans and interventions within the framework of a multi-faceted treatment approach including Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and other models/approaches as appropriate to meet the needs of the youth and families in our care. Maintain flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic and progressive agency.
Successful candidates will have:
Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Recreational Art, or Music Therapy; behavioral science field; or a qualified Mental Health Intern, as defined in Oregon 309-019-0105 (61)
Must demonstrate the ability to conduct an assessment, including identifying precipitating events, gathering histories of mental and physical health, substance abuse, past mental health services and criminal justice contacts, assessing family, cultural, social and work relationships, conducting a mental status examination, complete a DSM diagnosis, write and supervise the implementation of a Service Plan, and provide individual, family or group therapy within the scope of their training.
Current licensure (LPC, LMFT and/or LCSW) is preferred and Kairos will support both the supervision and cost of licensure requirements. Bi-lingual (ability to fluently communicate in Spanish.)
