Human Resources – Corporate Recruiter

 

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a Corporate Recruiter who is responsible for delivering recruitment success throughout the Agency, to include full cycle recruitment and selection of all open and temporary positions within the Agency. The Corporate HR Recruiter will execute job postings, source, pre-screen, track applicants, coordinate interviews, facilitate pre-employment tests and refer applicants for clerical, technical, administrative and management positions throughout the company. The Corporate HR Recruiter will develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract and retain a qualified talented workforce. The Recruiter will achieve staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates; advising hiring managers and monitoring and reporting on internships and volunteers. The ideal candidate will have the following responsibilities:   

  1. Serves as the primary point of contact for all recruitment activities, promotes and drives social media programs to maintain external enthusiasm around Crystal Stairs.
  2. Measures and communicates the impact of web community/social media strategies and tactics using agreed upon tracking metrics.
  3. Researches, analyzes, and monitors financial, technological, and demographic factors in order to capitalize on recruiting opportunities and minimize the effects of competitive activity.
  4. Follow up with all related pre-employment aspects of employment, such as the completion of background checks, references, live scan, health screenings, educational verifications, notifying all required departments of employee's starting date and the requisition the employee is filling, etc.
  5. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  6. Drive a high-level of traffic to micro websites optimized for key roles, track submittals and resulting hires.
  7. Act as liaison with area employment agencies, prepare and liaison with social media outlets (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.) and advertising agencies, process and check social media outlet and advertising agency invoicing, liaison with temporary agencies, record status of authorized positions within Crystal Stairs.
  8. Complete weekly report on employment activity.
  9. Accomplishes human resources and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  10. Other duties as assigned.
  11. Establishes recruiting requirements by studying the Agency's workplace structures, plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs.
  12. Builds applicant sources by researching, contacting and participating in community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, social media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; participating in job fairs; maintaining rapport.
  13. Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
  14. Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements; contacting recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites (Internal and External).
  15. Determines applicant qualifications by pre-screening and interviewing applicants (if necessary); analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  16. Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules; arrange interview locations; escorting applicant to interviews
  17. Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
  18. Review and update revisions to job descriptions according to Agency protocols and practices.
  19. Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; extending and monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.
  20. Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures; and confirmation of new hire orientation schedule.
  21. Track, maintain and report on workforce analytics (i.e. time to fill, retention, turnover, quality of hire)
  22. Manages internship tracking and maintain accurate records of all volunteers within the Agency

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communication, Organizational Development or related field, with Human Resources Certification, or equivalent years' experience.  Incumbent is expected to continue upgrading knowledge, skills and abilities needed to keep abreast of social media and other related recruitment developments in the human resources field.
  • Five years of full cycle recruitment experience, online research, community management and/or marketing experience, with minimum 3 years experience in social media. 
  • Minimum 5 years experience in organizations of 300 or more employees, with experience and exposure to the major disciplines of human resources management, (e.g., benefits, compensation, staff relations, training and development). 
  • Minimum 5 years staffing experience with exposure to management and staff consultation, legal analysis, conflict resolution, mediation, and training.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of online research, specifically with social media outlets. 
  • Expert knowledge of MS Office and advanced knowledge of HRIS systems such as ADP/HRB and other software, to include software applications, spreadsheets, database applications.
  • Knowledge of federal and state labor laws impacting recruitment, selection and testing
  • Must have exceptional planning skills to deliver optimal workforce staffing.
  • Must be a self starter and Self-motivated
  • Ability to set realistic, measurable goals, drive results, meet and exceeding objective and deadlines
  • Ability to adjust goals according to weekly data analysis
  • Customer/Client Focus.
  • Must be able to trouble shoot and Problem Solve effectively
  • Ability to examine and analyze workforce analytics with a thoroughness and quality of work
  • Must be able to exhibit excellent Time Management skills and an ability to prioritize work as necessary.
  • Ability to maintain and uphold strict confidentiality
  • Ability to propose and implement solutions
  • Ability to be flexible in style and approach of various day-to-day situations
  • Ability to provide superior presentation skills
  • Represents Human Resources as prime contact for the agency.  Works closely with supervisors and managers as a partner to assist in the overall success of the organization.  Provides expert counsel and exercises sound judgment in handling complex employee issues. 
  • Position requires a high degree of professionalism, judgment, and maturity, and ability to maintain strict confidentiality. 
  • Must have exemplary oral, written, and interpersonal skills, as well as strong ability to educate, persuade and interact with all organizational levels.  Ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy during the process of educating, mentoring and coaching staff and management is a must.
