Esperanza Academy is a tuition-free, independent middle school in the Episcopal tradition welcoming girls of diverse faiths, races and cultures from Lawrence, Massachusetts. Esperanza's mission is to inspire its students to become active learners and responsible global citizens. We empower and prepare our girls to meet challenges with courage, integrity, and respect.
Under the direction of The Head of School, The Dean of Academics is responsible for the day-to-day operation of all aspects of the school program at Esperanza Academy. The Dean of Academics promotes the culture and academic excellence at Esperanza Academy and ensures that the academic goals and objectives set forth in the school’s strategic plan are met. The Dean of Academics is responsible for leading the faculty and implementing our vision for our transformational academic and co-curricular program. The Dean of Academic reports to the Head of School, serves as the school’s instructional leader, and is a member of the Leadership Team with the Director of Development, the Graduate Support Director, the Business Manager, Technology Director, and the Dean of Students.
