  Job Description

The Seasonal Development Coordinator will assist with the implementation of various logistical related jobs in the execution of the BP MS 150 Bike Ride, including pre and post events.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Handling of packet pick up supplies including loading and unloading of all event supplies
  • Driving the packet pick up 24 ft. supply truck to and from events
  • Management of packet pick up events (set up and tear down), including the loading and loading of the supplies onto the truck
  • Attend Top Fundraiser Packet Pick up events for Club 300 and Superstar Fundraisers
  • Attend each general packet pick up and expo prior to the BP MS 150
  • Shipping / Receiving of materials (sponsor literature, t-shirts, etc.)
  • Delivery and pick up of supplies as requested for volunteer projects / team packet pick ups
  • Maintain an inventory list of all warehouse event supplies; produce inventory updates and post event recaps as requested
  • Maintain accurate inventory of packet pick up and event supplies (i.e. rider numbers, t-shirts, and goodie bags)
  • Support the development and implementation of fund-raising events
  • Customer Service: respond to general information requests via telephone, e-mail, mailings, or in person regarding events and packet pick ups
  • Attend all department and bike meetings pertaining packet pick-ups as requested
  • Mailing projects as needed
  • Special projects as assigned

Minimum Education:

  • High School Diploma 

Minimum Experience: 

  • A high school diploma minimum, some college preferred and/or prior experience in volunteer management, planning, budgeting, public speaking, organizing, public relations, promotions, marketing, sales and managing events.
