This position is located in Springfield and Eugene, OR. This is an on-call position with multiple shifts available: day shift 8:00am - 4:30pm, mid shift 9:30am - 6:00pm, or swing shift 11:30am - 8:00pm. The requirement for on-call positions is to pick up a minimum of four shifts per month.
The Skills Trainer works as a member of an interdisciplinary team to implement and monitor treatment for residents living within the residential facility, while supporting a trauma-informed care environment. With the high prevalence of trauma among individuals receiving mental health services, it is required the Skills Trainer understand the effects of trauma on health, coping, and other aspects of the lives of those we serve. The Skills Trainer must have the ability to work independently in the community, providing skills training to clients. This position involves participation and implementation of program goals and objectives to promote a strengths-based, client-centered approach to assisting residents in achieving individual goals and ultimately transitioning to a less restrictive setting.
