The Grant Program Administrator in the Division of Local Government will apply grant management knowledge to administer programs and serve as the lead on issues related to eligible grantees that request funds through the programs. The position serves as the administrator for the department's Gray and Black Market Marijuana Enforcement Grant program which awards grants to local governments to cover the cost, in part or full, for law enforcement investigation and prosecution costs associated with illegal marijuana cultivation and distribution. The position also administers the Peace Officer Mental Health Support grant program which awards grants to local governments to engage mental health professions in providing support to peace officers for on-scene and counseling support. This position administers all aspects of the programs, while demonstrating sensitivity to highly political decision making and discretion in all activities.
Requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and two years of professional grant administration experience.
