You have a powerful opportunity to impact the life of a foster child when you volunteer with CASA of Contra Costa County.
Not only do children with CASA volunteers have higher graduation rates, but they also have a lower rate of being homeless or committing a crime. We encourage people from all cultures and professions, and of all ethnic and educational backgrounds to attend our Informational Session to learn more.
CASA volunteers advocate one-one-one for abused and neglected children in the foster care system. They are commited to making a difference for children who might otherwise slip through the cracks of an overburdened foster care system or languish in an inapropriate placement. CASA volunteers are appointed by a juvenile court judge to help ensure that every child in foster care is moved to a safe permanent home.
You must be 21 years or older to volunteer.
