Building a secure and hopeful today so children facing health issues and poverty succeed tomorrow. That's the promise of The Children's Place Association.
Our Early Learning Center provides early childhood services for medically complex and special needs children ages 6 months to 5 years. The program is designed to manage the unique problems of these children, such as infections, undernourishment, developmental delays and psychological issues. To address these issues, the program offers specialized services including case management; physical, occupational, language and speech therapies; and on-site nursing care.
We are seeking a full-time Lead Teacher for one of our Preschool classrooms (ages 3 to 5). The Lead Teacher provides direct care to children in a group setting and is responsible for developing educational/recreational lesson plans for each assigned child. The Lead Teacher also participates in the planning and supervision of seasonal family activities, gives program information to parents, engages in weekly staff meetings and client charting, and provides direction to classroom assistant(s) and volunteers.
