The Chicago Humanities Festival (CHF) celebrates ideas within the context of civic life, connecting artists, authors, journalists, scholars, policy makers, and other thinkers with passionate and inquisitive audiences. CHF presents over 150 programs to 50,000 people annually (including discussions, lectures, and performances) during its Fallfest, Springfest, and throughout the year. It has a robust educational program, EdLab, which welcomes middle-school and high-school students to programs celebrating the arts and humanities.
The Associate Director, Corporate Relations is an integral part of CHF’s six-person development team. This role is responsible for the creation and implementation of a well-coordinated, strategic corporate cultivation plan to meet CHF’s contributed revenue goals. Working closely with the development and programming teams and senior staff, this position works to establish long-term partnerships, strengthen existing relationships and initiate new contacts within the corporate sector.
The desired candidate will research, identify corporate prospects and proactively seek opportunities for funding based on corporate guidelines and interests. Candidates should have a proven track record in networking and maintaining strong relationships with corporate donors and prospects. We are looking for someone who is energetic, ambitious, goal-oriented and creative, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and with a talent for building strong and productive relationships across constituencies.
