Habitat Charlotte is searching for a demonstrated innovator to serve as their Outreach & Recruitment Processing Specialist. This position provides support to the Family Services Department by coordinating productive Outreach and Recruitment efforts throughout the City of Charlotte and Pineville. Working in conjunction with the Family Services department, this person will play a major part in ensuring that our services are accessible to all eligible households by raising and improving the visibility of our programs through various strategies.
The desired qualifications for this position is a minimum of three years customer service/customer relations experience or, recruiting experience, or a college degree or equivalent work experience in the field of Outreach and Recruitment. The successful candidate will also have a valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle that you would be willing to use for business purposes. Demonstrated experience working with Diverse Populations, strong written and verbal communication skills including public speaking, and intermediate experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Publisher). You must be able to pass a drug test and a clean background check is also required. The ability to read, write and speak fluent Spanish is highly desired.
This is a part-time position, 25-28 hours per week, Tuesday – Saturday work week with some evening hours.
