Residential Unit Directors – Forensic - Supported Living 2 Programs Closing Date: 9/25/18
F/T position to provide leadership and direction to a continuous residential support (CRS) program located in Canterbury serving 3 people. Schedule and maintain adequate program coverage and ensure compliance to Agency contracts. Facilitate team meetings, ensure treatment plans are being implemented, manage program budget and collect and disseminate statistical reports. Conduct regular note reviews and provide ongoing training for staff in documentation and Therap data input.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise and maintain compliance with line of site forensic program requirements
Recruit, lead, and develop direct care staff.
Manage budgets and FTE’s effectively and within required limits
Provide Therapy data and provide accurate reporting in compliance with DDS and Agency standards
Provide direction, assistance, and approval to direct care staff for major crisis intervention
Provide assessments and Program approval for admissions, discharges, and staff assignments for program participants in conjunction with program coordinator.
Provide scheduling for adequate coverage of program. Provide coverage when needed to SLP I and SLP II Program
Provide support to SLP I I Program on a regular basis as directed by service director
Assure coordination of services among designated programs, other Reliance House Programs, and community programs.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and program evaluation for designated programs.
Congregate settings: Coordinate maintenance of house to ensure quality environment for residents
Identify programmatic and resource needs to support program expansion
Monitor Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement for service area.
Provide evaluations that are up to date and evident in personnel files on direct reporting staff
Meets deadlines in completing and submitting required /requested documentation
Engage in continuous concerted efforts to access, obtain, respond to pertinent agency information/communications and disseminate as appropriate
Provide working conditions and education that maximizes safety for direct care staff and program participants Other responsibilities of Reliance Health staff, such as participation in Agency events, adhering to Agency Policies & procedures, training requirements etc.
Other job-related duties as assigned.
Review notes weekly, make corrections and teach employees content, accuracy and appropriate terminology.
Provide regular supervision that is documented and acknowledged by the employee that includes but is not limited to: providing honest and fair feedback about performance, discussing employee goals & growth, appreciation and program communication.
Approve employee timesheets accurately prior to 9am on Monday payroll weeks and when appropriate, approve and fax per diem timesheets prior to 9am Monday payroll weeks.
Perform duties while demonstrating Agency Core Competencies and values.
