Thorne Nature Experience is a non-profit organization that is committed to building Earth stewardship by providing youth with joyful, hands-on, place-based environmental education experiences that foster an emotional connection to nature.
Thorne Summer Camp in Boulder, Lafayette, and Littleton has been connecting youth to nature since 1957! Each summer, Thorne offers day camp experiences for youth ages 3-15 that focus on themes like wild nature play, survival skills, nature art, fishing, biking, and more. Thorne’s “Camp Experiences” allow youth to explore in nature and offer just the right mix of fun and hands-on learning. Join us in getting youth outside and connecting to the wild landscapes of Colorado!
We are currently hiring for the following positions: Summer Camp Instructor, Bilingual Summer Camp Instructor, Summer Camp Field Coordinator, Summer Camp Assistant Instructor, Summer Camp Field Assistant Intern, Photography Intern, Summer Camp Extended Care Lead Instructor (part time), and Summer Camp Extended Care Assistant Instructor (part time) at all locations.
As a Summer Camp staff member, you will become part of a team of nature-oriented professionals who receive support from our camp leaders, develop environmental education skills, and enjoy a community of peers who value a profound connection to nature in our lives.
