Fund for the Public Interest is a national nonprofit and we are looking for a recruiter to help us identify our next leaders so we can have the biggest impact on issues like global warming, getting big money out of politics, and protecting our water, air, and public health.
We know that if you want to protect the environment, safeguard public health, or stand up for the public, it’s not enough to know you’re right, or to have the best arguments. You need hundreds, thousands, sometimes millions of people, from all walks of life, behind your cause.
That’s because real change happens when people demand it in a way decision makers can’t ignore. When huge numbers of people make their voices heard through petitions, emails, small donations, and meetings, that’s what makes the difference.
If you are the kind of person who is ready to work to recruit our next leaders to get the largest fast food chain in the world to switch to antibiotic-free meat, or to convince your Senator to support the most significant limits on global warming emissions in our country’s history, then you should apply to be a recruiter with the Fund for the Public Interest.
The Recruiter exercises independent judgment and discretion in recruiting talented, entry level and experienced candidates to take on leadership positions within Fund for the Public Interest.
Representative responsibilities include:
Compensation & Benefits: The target annual compensation for this position is $26,000 in the first year. Fund for the Public Interest offers a competitive benefits package. We also offer an excellent training program and opportunities for advancement
Application Deadline: Please submit your application and cover letter by July 10th.
