The East Bay Community Law Center (EBCLC) is seeking a Social Worker for a temporary part-time position providing field instruction to master’s level social work interns, and working alongside EBCLC attorneys and staff to provide holistic representation and support to court-involved youth and their families and individuals with housing-related needs. The ideal candidate is a strong advocate with excellent case management and organizational skills, a willingness to work collaboratively across legal and social work disciplines, and experience supervising MSW students.
EBCLC is a non-profit legal services organization and the community-based clinical program for Berkeley Law School, committed to increasing justice through education and advocacy and building a culturally diverse workplace, centered on equity. With over 50 staff, 150 law students, and a $6 million annual budget, EBCLC is the largest provider of free legal advocacy in Alameda County, providing multimodal, collaborative, and holistic legal services to over 5,000 clients yearly and engaging in legislative and policy advocacy at the local and state level.
Starting salary for this exempt position is $60,000 (prorated based on FTE rate), with increases possible for each extra year of prior directly relevant experience, as dictated by the EBCLC salary scale.
