This position will work 10 to 20 hours per week; must be available to work the varying schedule, as assigned by the managers weekly.
Provide transportation for clients and approved visitors via company vehicles to appointments and approved off-campus visitations in a safe and timely manner. Ensure that all equipment is maintained in proper working condition, meeting or exceeding any regulations regarding its maintenance. Provide mentorship and supervision of residents on programs as time allows and as assigned. Perform other responsibilities, task and projects as needed. Must be flexible to work both morning and afternoon hours.
Valid State Issued Driver’s License; must meet state licensing driving requirements in addition to Nexus driving policy requirements.
High School diploma or GED required. Minimum 21 years of age. Must pass any and all state physical requirements and drug testing associated with (driving) operator’s license. Must be able to assist staff in physical interventions and restraints of residents. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time (2-4 hours). Must be able to twist, bend and stretch in a manner conducive to the execution of daily activities within a residential treatment facility.
