Texas Health Allen, a Level IV Trauma Center and Pathway for Excellence designated hospital, has a PRN Administrative Supervisor opportunity available.
Qualified candidates will possess the following:
•Graduate of an accredited nursing program
•BSN preferred; Supervisors hired or promoted within THR after April 1, 2017 require completion of BSN within 2 years of start date
•Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas upon hire
•Current BCLS (AHA) upon hire
•Current ACLS (AHA) upon hire
CPI within 30 days of hire
•Five (5) years' experience as a clinical nurse with previous experience as a charge nurse or similar leadership role (i.e. Charge nurse, committee chair, preceptor)
•Three (3) year experience in Emergency and/or critical care nursing preferred
Practices within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act. Proactive problem solving skills, good interpersonal, verbal, written and computer skills. Excellent prioritization skills.
Hours/Schedule: 6:00pm-6:00am:PRN; We are looking for someone who would commit to 1 shift per week. Ideally, every other weekend Sat/Sun.
Supports hospital operations and leadership, staffing, patient throughput and bed management, customer support and patient experience, human resource and staff development, process and quality improvement
Facilitates interaction between disciplines/departments.
Collaborates with teams to improve care processes that promote continuity of care
Continues to develop nursing knowledge and skills as well as management/leadership Uses Clinical Practice Model philosophy to work in partnership with peers, other disciplines, and unlicensed assistive personnel
