Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Vice President of Human Resources is responsible for providing vision, leadership, and direction in developing and executing human resources strategies to achieve Moorings Park's overall business plan, strategic direction, mission, and goals.

Your contributions:

• Develop and execute Human Resources plans and strategies with collaborative input from senior leadership.
• Sincere passion for people and culture and a strong aptitude for managing and developing rising HR talent.
• Robust understanding of industry trends and best practices, as well as deep understanding of compliance/regulatory requirements and labor law/regulations.
• Knowledge of HR systems, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, total rewards programs, EAP, worker’s compensation, performance management, talent development, and acquisition.
• Develop strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs of strategic goals and growth for the organization.
• Build Human Resources and Talent KPI’s which focus on employee engagement, retention/turnover, talent promotions, and diversity and inclusion.
• Function as a strategic business advisor to the executive/senior management of each business unit or specialty group regarding key organizational and management issues.
• Develop and implement wellness strategies to improve and control rising health care costs.
• Capable of executing daily HR challenges while maintaining a forward-thinking mindset.
• Able to meet adversity with positivity and provide realistic sound solutions.
• Compassionate role model who acts as a steward of Moorings Park’s mission, vision, and values for the entire organization.

Your background includes:

• 10 years of progressive leadership experience with 5 years leading HR teams at a senior level.
• Masters degree in Human Resources preferred
• SPHR or SHRM-SCP Certification preferred
• Healthcare or senior living experience preferred.
• Experience with ADP and other HCM software systems highly desired.
• Knowledge of AHCA regulations and requirements.
• Highly developed project management skills.
• Experience in both strategy and tactical execution.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
