Helps to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all shelter animals, staff and visitors. Assesses animals upon intake, and throughout their stay at the shelter, to ensure they receive the appropriate medical attention. Administers medications, and draws blood, as outlined in state regulations and shelter procedures. Documents and enters all information into the appropriate software and on hard copy. Take pictures of the animal and write a bio description of breed and it’s personality. Updates all information as needed. Assists with the adoption process. Assists Director as needed.
