The Tampa Bay Women’s Business Centre is the only SBA-designated Women’s Business Centre on the west coast of Florida. It is one of six programs at The Helen Gordon Davis Centre for Women and part of a national network of WBCs dedicated to helping aspiring and nascent entrepreneurs.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Program Director of the Tampa Bay Women’s Business Center at The Helen Gordon Davis Centre for Women works under the leadership of the Executive Director to help aspiring and nascent entrepreneurs with counseling, training and access to capital.
The Program Director will serve on the Centre for Women Leadership Team and work with professional staff, the WBC Advisory Council, volunteers, clients, partner organizations and individuals and agencies to promote women’s business ownership throughout the Tampa Bay region.

COMPETENCY: Business Expertise
KEY ACTION: Experience providing business management and financial consulting to small businesses. Ability to successfully assist clients in securing financing and bonding and developing strategies for procurement and contracting. Understanding of business development. Knowledge of cash flow analysis and financial statements.

KEY ACTION: Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to creatively develop solutions as necessary.
