The Coordinator, Policy and Community Impact will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and improving the systems and processes that enable the Policy and Community Impact team to achieve its goals. This person will manage the team’s logistics, as well as coordinate internal and external stakeholders, processes, and perform administrative duties in order to help the team to execute its programs and processes to support our members in pursuit of high impact opportunities. The Coordinator will provide program support to Directors on the Policy and Community Impact team who lead and/or collaborate on fellowship programs, senior leader workshops, and strategic policy support to senior leaders. The Coordinator will also provide administrative support to the Senior Director of Policy and Community Impact (e.g., submitting expense reports, managing team meeting logistics), and to the Vice President, Policy and Advocacy (e.g., scheduling and expense reports), as needed.
One of the Coordinator’s primary responsibilities will be to manage internal and external communication, including drafting communication in multiple mediums, such as emails, blogs, social media updates, and other digital content. This position is also responsible for data maintenance and integrity as well as creating data reports and analyses that provide insight and enhance the team’s effectiveness. The Coordinator will serve as liaison to the Communications and Technology teams on behalf of the Policy and Community Impact team’s programs and products including member engagement campaigns.
This role requires creativity, resourcefulness, the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders in person and remotely, exceptional attention to detail, and an ability to create systems - to ensure we are constantly learning, improving, and developing ways to work more effectively. The Coordinator needs to exercise strong judgment in responding to questions, troubleshooting problems, and flagging issues for other team members as needed.
