You will: Manage patient admission - conduct patient admission interviews, obtaining necessary patient signatures, filling out all admission data forms.
Administrative Tasks- Telephone answering, miscellaneous filing and copying, oversee the inventorying of patients’ possessions and valuables, keep patient log book updated, Customer Service- provide optimal customer service on the unit, follow up on clients who were unable to make decisions on admission and obtain necessary permission and signatures.
What you will need to bring: Education - High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience – Two years’ experience in admissions in a substance abuse setting Skills – Strong computer skills and proficient with electronic medical record systems.
