Manages the Youth Program and provides a wide range of youth academic/employment related intensive services to individuals within the agency policies and program, demonstrates skills to assess service needs, develops service plans, and evaluates the effectiveness of services given to youth customers under the general supervision of the Children and Youth Development Manager.
Plans, implements, and evaluates the overall Middle and High School Youth Development Program. Supervises all program staff for daily performances including all Youth Development Program related services and paperwork and responsible for staff’s professional development, including planning, implementing, and evaluating staff professional growth activities, writing program annual report and staff annual performance appraisal. Works closely with the Children and Youth Development Manager in authorizing program purchases, making recommendations on major equipment and facilities, writing grant proposals for the program, and hiring program staff. Represents agency in meetings with funders or partners, with or without the Department Manager and report meeting contents to manager.
B.A. degree or equivalence from an accredited college or university in social work, education, or related human service fields. Minimum two years’ experience in supervision and three years in human service or related fields. Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English and Chinese.
