Position Summary: The Director of Annual Giving is responsible for the creation and management of Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette’s (PPCW) comprehensive annual fund program, with a focus on community centric fundraising and ensuring application of an equity lens in all areas.
The person in this position is responsible for developing a vision and budget for annual fund campaign as well as managing a variety of annual giving strategies to acquire, retain, reactivate and upgrade donors. In addition to program management, this position will also serve as a development officer by building and stewarding relationships between PPCW and its annual donors, as well as the success of the Transformational Leadership Award Dinner, if held, and Annual Luncheon (800+ guests). Direct supervisory responsibilities for 2 or more Development team members and will occasionally supervisor other staff and volunteers.
The Director of Annual Giving also supports the Chief Development officer in the oversight of operations for the development department. This includes, but is not limited to, managing all reporting, budgeting, and donor segmentation and analysis for review of the Chief Development Officer, Development Committee and Board of Directors.
Compensation:Salary is $56,500 + depending upon experience.

Position Details:This is a non represented, exempt position.
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours a week). Monday to Friday. This position will require evening and weekend hours as needed to meet operational needs.
Bachelor’s level degree in one of the following fields: Business, Public Affairs, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or similar study; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Three (3) years successful experience in development or sales, with a proven track record of successfully meeting or exceeding annual fundraising or revenue goals.
Two (2) years of successful staff management and mentorship.
Demonstrated success in managing mid to large scale special events.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in donor management software.
Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated interpersonal, active listening and strategic planning skills.
Strong commitment to the mission and goals of PPCW.
