WORK SCHEDULE: Full time/40 hours a week – Monday to Friday; some evenings and weekends required

Major and Planned Gift Officers are responsible for qualifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding a portfolio of 150 prospects and donors, with a primary focus on securing current or deferred gifts at the $20,000 level or above. Relationships will be developed through personal visits and communications and will focus on donor interests and CTG’s priorities. Responsibilities will focus on retaining and upgrading donors’ giving and involvement.
CTG provides a dynamic working environment in which duties and responsibilities may change. Employees are expected to be flexible and responsive to changes in the scope of their duties.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience. Three or more years of progressively responsible fundraising and a proven track record of soliciting major gifts through face-to-face asks. Experience in fundraising for performing arts a plus. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to establish in-person appointments with major donors by phone, email and letters. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and database systems such as Tessitura. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, personable, and have a great sense of humor. The candidate will also have a strong commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
