The Elected Leadership team is responsible for for inspiring, developing and helping to make more effective our members who are interested in pursuing elected office as a path to help kids and their community. This position, for the interim, reports to Director, Regional Impact; they will work closely with the VP of Elected Leadership. Additionally, the position will work closely with partner teams, including but not limited to Technology, Strategy & Operations, and Regional Impact.
The Director, Data & Impact is an integral role on the Elected Leadership team, supporting the dynamic and diverse team to achieve impactful goals through strong project management, robust data analysis, and innovative strategic decision making.
Data Analytics and Strategy (50%):
Collect and qualitatively and quantitatively analyze program data to develop and influence strategy
Lead annual goal setting process on EL and with other teams, including setting all programming, diversity and conversion goals and overseeing the creation of dashboards and other tools to track and analyze progress to goals and make adjustments as needed;
Create regular reports and analyze progress to goals, conversion data, disaggregated diversity data, and advise on/direct shifts in strategy as needed;
Working closely with the Supporter Relations team and the Strategy & Operations team to gather and anticipate needed data points to tell the story of our program to prospective donors and stakeholders
Project Management (30%):
Lead internal and cross-functional projects that increase impact
Develop and roll out processes across team to ensure data integrity and clarity of access
Translating business needs into analytic questions and conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses; lead projects for the team and organization that follow through on the actionable insights yielded from the analyses
Special Projects (20%):
With guidance from, and in partnership with, team leadership working to scope, structure and manage projects as the need arises
