The NYCLU is seeking an experienced, mission-driven professional to serve as Interim Legislative Director and spearhead our legislative program.
The NYCLU is currently reviewing the structure of our advocacy, policy and lobbying work in light of the substantial growth of our staff and program and the changed political climate. While this is may be an interim position, the successful candidate may become part of our permanent team once the organizational review of our statewide legislative, advocacy and policy work is complete.
The Legislative Director is a member of the senior executive team with primary responsibility for the NYCLU’s statewide legislative program. They report to the Executive Director and support the NYCLU’s work through cultivating strategic relationships and influential partnerships.
