The National Multiple Sclerosis Society mobilizes people and resources to drive research for a cure and to address the challenges of everyone affected by MS. To fulfill this mission, the Society funds cutting-edge research, drives change through advocacy, facilitates professional education, collaborates with MS organizations around the world, and provides programs and services designed to help people with MS and their families move their lives forward.
Our midtown Manhattan office is seeking a responsible and reliable intern looking to further their education in, and exposure to, Human Resources and Recruitment practices. This position will work closely with HR staff supporting projects in the areas of Talent Acquisition and Retention, Training and Development, Compliance, Employee Relations, and more. This internship is unpaid.
Day to Day & Specific Responsibilities:
Daily responsibilities will consist of:
1. Field of Study:
Human Resources, Organizational Psychology or Development, Communications, or other related field
2. Year in school:
Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior
3. Time Commitment:
Duration: approximately 20 weeks
Hours per week: 7 hrs/week
